It can only burn CD's. This should have a complete breakdown on how to change out hardware. I try not to buy cheap off brand. It just doesn't seem like it's a hardware r30000. Can somebody point me in the right direction to get a copy of the recovery disk please.

In future I propose u either to replace the prresario by a DVDRW or u may buy an external slim dvdrw if u want to keep ur existing drive as well. Also HP, Sony, Memorex.
